Masons Meats Inc., 5615 FM 973, Del Valle, TX 78617 operates the US store at masonsmeats.com. This policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information when you visit the US store, order from us, contact us or sign up for marketing. Information we collect

You may give us your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, order details, account information if you create an account, marketing preferences and communications with our team. If you report a product problem, we may also receive photographs, batch codes and information you choose to share about the issue. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.

Our checkout and payment providers collect payment details to process purchases. We receive payment status and transaction information needed to manage your order; the payment provider’s own privacy information explains its handling of payment credentials.

When you use our site, we and our technology providers may collect your IP address, browser and device information, cookie or similar identifiers, pages viewed, referral sources and interactions with products, emails or advertisements. We collect optional analytics and advertising information subject to your privacy choices. We may receive delivery updates from carriers and campaign or audience information from marketing providers.

How we use information

We use information to process payments, fulfill and deliver orders, provide customer support, investigate product and food safety concerns, communicate about orders, maintain accounts where offered, prevent fraud, secure our services, keep business records and meet legal obligations. Subject to your choices and applicable law, we also use information to send marketing, understand website use, measure advertising and show relevant advertisements.

Who receives information

We disclose relevant information to providers supporting our storefront and hosting, payments, fulfillment, shipping, customer support, security, analytics and marketing. These include Klaviyo for marketing and Google Analytics for website analytics, where those services are enabled and permitted by your choices. Payment and delivery providers may also use information for their own lawful purposes as described in their privacy policies.

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes your information to operate the store and provide services, including personalisation and advertising based on your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify. Your information may be shared with Shopify and other providers and processed in other countries. See Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy and Privacy Portal for more information, and “Your choices and requests” below for your options.

We use advertising tools, including those provided by Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure advertising performance and show relevant advertisements. Depending on the features enabled, these tools include pixels and server-side event sharing, such as conversions APIs.

Information shared may include website engagement and purchase information, online identifiers, and customer contact and location information. Customer details may be used to match your activity with an account on the relevant advertising platform.

Depending on applicable law, these disclosures may constitute a sale or sharing of personal information or processing for targeted advertising, even when no money is exchanged. The “Your choices and requests” section explains how to control this processing.

Our UK group company (Masons Meats Ltd) may access relevant customer information to help operate the US store, including providing customer support, administering orders and analysing business performance. Access is limited to what is needed for those purposes and is subject to appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards. This does not enrol you in marketing from Masons Meats Ltd or other Mason’s stores. Masons Meats Inc. remains responsible for your US-store customer relationship.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators or law enforcement when legally required or appropriate to protect rights and safety, and in connection with a merger, sale or other business reorganization subject to applicable safeguards.

Retention security and international processing

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, considering the type of information, the relationship with you, tax and accounting requirements, food traceability, complaint handling, fraud prevention and legal claims. Marketing suppression records may be retained so we can respect an unsubscribe request.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No system is completely secure. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws may differ. We apply safeguards required by applicable law.

Your choices and requests

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each message or by contacting info@masonsmeats.com. We may still send necessary nonmarketing messages about your orders, safety notices or requests.

You can manage optional analytics and advertising technologies through Cookie Settings. Our separate Cookie Policy explains these technologies and your available choices. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent you from making a purchase.

Where applicable, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and its use for targeted advertising through Your Privacy Choices. These choices cover relevant advertising-related uses and disclosures, including those made through supported server-side integrations and Shopify’s advertising-related services, rather than only cookies stored in your browser.

You can also email info@masonsmeats.com to exercise these rights, including for relevant uses of your information that are not controlled through browser settings, such as customer-list advertising audiences.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply to our processing, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Contact info@masonsmeats.com to submit a request. We may need to verify your identity for some requests, and legal exceptions may apply. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Where a right of appeal applies, reply to our decision to request an appeal. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Where required by applicable law, we recognise supported opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control. Browser-based choices may initially apply to the browser or device you use. Where we can associate a request with your customer account, we apply it more broadly as required by law. Ordinary browser Do Not Track signals do not currently change our practices.

Opting out of advertising-related processing does not prevent us from using information as necessary to process your orders, provide customer support, prevent fraud or meet legal obligations. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in a message or contact us.

Children

Our services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Other websites and changes

Third-party websites and services have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before making changes that require it.
